Playing

The bigger Gabriel gets, the more he wants to be down, playing with his toys, and the less he wants to cuddle and be held. Of course, his preference is to have both and play in your lap, but every now and then we do have to get things done. He is going to a babysitter now instead of daycare. It is so wonderful, she plays with him and takes him outside for walks. She has a little girl who is a few months older than him, so he is still getting exposed to other babies. He had his fourth month check up this week. He weighs 14 lbs and 12 oz. and is 25&1/4 inches long! He is between the 40th and 50th percentiles on everything, so he is growing perfectly! He got his shots and that made him a little fussy for a few hours but true to his good nature he was back to himself by the afternoon!
